Geez,i clicked download and i immediately cancelled, 1.7g for a lora bro? Did u just merge a model with it?
when u havnt a card with 24gb vram u cant shrink it this is currently the only solution
@Jaulustus I've been able to shrink using Kohya on a 16gb card, but the LORA started out more like 500mb (maybe that causes a difference)
SDXL LoRAs are beefy.

@randomacc I was able to get it down to 18mb using the method @countlippe mentioned
@tomdvs Amazing result. I've found the down size works surprising well and doesn't seem to damage the outcome of facial features when I've used it.
@countlippe Thanks! I was surprised too. I ran some S/Rs with the 1.7gb and the 18mb and they are practically identical for close ups
