An anime adaptation of Fujiko Fujio's Pokonyan depicts a new blue-haired 'female' protagonist (most intimate fans of the future might suspected it was before Hilda) by the name of Amy Konoha (real name: Miki Konoha). A cheerful 8-year-old elementary age girl who is the only child of Konoha family with her two parents, Midori (Melissa) and Shigeru (Daniel), and also Pokonyan's new adoptive friend (after Taro in children's manga). She is an idol of the class, and her personality is inherited from her father, and she is a lively tomboy. There is also a selfish and vain side. She is terrible at arithmetic and her handwriting sometimes can be dirty. It often comes with the help of the power of Hempokorin. Although this has to keep secret, even if it meant to be shouted at in frequent times as it will not being exposed to her classmate friends. Deep down, of course, Miki still care for Pokonyan no matter what. Well, it's quite unusual that the series itself (adaptation one) has a female protagonist, which is similar to Eri Kasuga (from Chimpui)
