Oona Castilla Chaplin is a Spanish-Swiss actress born on June 4, 1986, in Madrid, Spain. She is the daughter of actress Geraldine Chaplin and cinematographer Patricio Castilla, and the granddaughter of legendary silent film star Charlie Chaplin. She studied at Gordonstoun School in Scotland on a drama scholarship and later graduated from the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London.
Oona is best known for her role as Talisa Maegyr in Game of Thrones (2012–2013). She has also appeared in notable TV series and films such as The Crimson Field, Taboo, The Hour, Quantum of Solace, The Longest Ride, and Avatar: The Way of Water.
