Gemma Arterton is an English actress and producer known for her roles in both film and theatre. Born on February 2, 1986, in Gravesend, Kent, she made her stage debut in Shakespeare's "Love's Labour's Lost" at the Globe Theatre in 2007. Arterton gained widespread recognition for her role as Bond girl Strawberry Fields in the James Bond film "Quantum of Solace" (2008), which earned her an Empire Award for Best Newcomer.
