Please ❤️ this model and leave a review if you like it, it makes a massive difference!
Training this model took countless days and hundreds of dollars; your support is more than appreciated! Special thanks to @HailoKnight , @pixelworld_ai and @Temporarium for their massive support.
BriXL is a fine-tuned model with a special focus on science fiction and cinematic vibes. Its imperfection is what makes it shine! It has been trained on a lot of my original content as well as cinematic materials.
It is extremely good at making mechanical objects and giving a cinematic lighting without too much contrast or abusive color vibrance while giving you style flexibility from cartoon-ish to full photorealistic scenes.
While this is a first release, BriXL is a constant work in progress for as long as I got the funds to keep the training running. If you enjoy the model, please leave a review, if you don't like it, please tell me why!
I am fine with merges as long as you credit me
Description
This is the final BriXL release, it's the end of the line.
BriXL has been my most popular model (5729 downloads at the time of writing!) since I started playing with Stable Diffusion and was my first entirely fine-tuned checkpoint and I've learned a lot in the process but it's time for me to move on to other things.
I want to thank everybody who contributed one way or another, the feedback has been tremendously helpful and I am now better equipped to start a new journey!

Congratulations on BriXL V5!
I've downloaded V5 and tested it out, all I can say is congratulations man, Yes, the understanding for sci-fi prompts is back! The outputs for sci-fi-related, robotic-related prompts are even better than V2! Facial details are as always very realistic, overall this is the best BriXL version ever created! I hope there will be a V6 in the future since V5's name is "end of the line" (hope I'm not overreading this), anyway, great job man, insanely fascinating work!
PS: Spaceships still need some improvements if possible, somehow it gives out giant long spaceships with the head of the F22 jet fighter, which looks a bit weird.
Thank you so much for your continuous support Dr.Dream!
I don't like to say never but at this point I don't plan on updating this checkpoint....finding the right balance has been an tremendous challenge and I've decided to opt for image composition over other things.
If I can recommend my StarCitizenXL LoRA as a companion to this checkpoint for spaceships I think you might get something you like!
@braintacles Will do, and maybe some other checkpoints later in the future?
@Dr_Dream maybe!
@braintacles Have a nice break and I hope to see you around here sometime soon! TBH when I opened Civitai the first time 3 months ago, BriXL V1 caught my eye instantly, while everyone else was doing animated/realistic nude girls, this was the only decent sci-fi-related checkpoint around, I've been using all 5 versions of BriXL and I really hope this is not goodbye. God IDK why I'm being so sentimental but this gives me a feeling like Blizzard Activision claiming they will not be releasing any new Call of Duty series games anymore haha. Anyway, I would rate this Top 1 checkpoint across the web personally, keep up the good work, and hope to see you soon with some new stuff ;)
Interesting. I was getting some fun shapes for ships, but some lower image quality than I'd like with earlier versions. Or at least more "sketchy" and stylized. I gen to escape the stereotypical. I can't wait to try V5. I, too, am saddened by the end of the line. I hate to see pinup girls and anime pr0n overrun XL.
Hi, there,
It sounds amazing, but what are the differences between versions V1 to V5?
Are they totally different versions or just an evolution?
Thanks
@Suzanne it's good to have you back! They are an evolution but the v5 evolution versus its predecessor is definitely the greatest amongst all the version
@braintacles ok, thanks for the clarification, I'll test it!
I just started downloading and will test another time locally.
I was thinking, in the event that you merged LoRAs inside your model, would you mind sharing which ones as to give us hints on to which keywords your model may react the most.
I'm giving an example out of my hat, suzannexlmix does list some nsfw loras which helps listing key tokens.
Thanks.
Hi @IndustrialVectors , this is a fine-tune, not a merge so it doesn't that strongly to specific keywords 🙏
can i make nsfw with this?
Tasteful NSFW will work fine but content rated above X will most likely be a challenge
