Valerie Perrine is an American actress and former model best known for her performances in the 1970s and 1980s. She gained prominence for her role as Honey Bruce in Lenny (1974), a biographical film about comedian Lenny Bruce, for which she won the Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival and received Academy Award and BAFTA nominations.

She is also well known for portraying Miss Eve Teschmacher in Superman: The Movie (1978) and Superman II (1980), where she played the glamorous and comedic accomplice of Lex Luthor (Gene Hackman).

Beyond these iconic roles, Perrine appeared in numerous films and TV shows, often cast in roles that emphasized her beauty and charisma. Her career spanned several decades, with appearances in films like Slaughterhouse-Five (1972) and The Electric Horseman (1979).
