Swedish pop artist, born Veronica Sandra Karin Maggio (of Italian & Swedish descent) who was named the country's "Newcomer of the Year" in 2007 with her debut single "Dumpa mig (Dump Me)."

She's continually broken records since her debut, and become one of the biggest names in Swedish music. In 2021, she achieved a milestone by becoming the first artist to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify with a catalogue of entirely Swedish-language songs. Her other musical achievements include 61 entries on the Swedish singles chart and over 1,337 weeks on the albums chart (as of 2024). Outside of her own solo releases, she has written songs for other artists, most notably the smash-hit "Hey Brother" (2013) for Avicii.
