Bernadette Peters is an American actress and singer who has worked in film, television, and musical theater for over 60 years. She has also performed in solo concerts and released recordings. Peters is known for her work on Broadway, and is sometimes called the "reigning queen of Broadway". She is also known for her charitable work, including founding the animal charity Broadway Barks.
