April Bowlby is an American actress. She started her career as a model before transitioning into acting. Her breakthrough role came in the form of Kandi on the television sitcom "Two and a Half Men," which she played from 2006 to 2015. In addition to her role on "Two and a Half Men," April Bowlby gained prominence for her portrayal of Rita Farr / Elasti-Woman in the DC Universe series "Doom Patrol," which premiered in 2019. "Doom Patrol" is based on the DC Comics superhero team of the same name, and Bowlby's character has the ability to change her size and form. Outside of her work on these two prominent TV shows, Bowlby has also appeared in various guest roles on other television series, including "CSI," "Psych," and "You're the Worst." She has primarily focused on her television career, but she has also made appearances in a few films like "From Prada to Nada" (2011) or "Unbroken: Path to Redemption" (2018).
