was this really trained on an sd 1.4 checkpoint?
I train almost exclusively on 1.4. Everything I train on 1.5 or a custom model is less flexible and works less well somewhere. Everything I train with 1.4 works on every model I try it on, real, animated, or otherwise. (In case it's not clear, I don't actually generate the images with 1.4, I think everything here is from Objective Reality)
Not sure why. I think a number of the core, ground-truth models (like F111) that are at the heart of the 'mixes' and remixes and re-re-mixes were trained on 1.4 before the 1.5 training steps, which might be part of it.
The only thing I've found doesn't work best for me with 1.4 for training is likenesses of specific people.

for using in 1.5.
I still use a few face (celebs) LORA+T.I. made for 1.4 in the SD 1.5 with great details.

I tried so hard to get it working w dudes but it's incredibly difficult and unreliable to make a man. Like, I get that ur model is made for female bodies and it works well; I wanna make one for dudes.
As far as LoRA go, I've only made characters, people and my dog so far: how did you manage a concept like "lash marks"? I'd be incredibly grateful for a nudge in the right direction.
Sorry for the difficulty with it. I try to avoid overfitting, but SD has an incredibly hard time with these kinds of color+texture modificaitons to bodies, and I couldn't really get it to generalize the concept on this one like I can on some.
Concept loras are really tricky to train compared to subject loras or theme loras, and I've found that there's little consistency in training. Some literally work ~the first time and others (like this one) take like 15 iterations.
My experience for the most part has been that less is more. This lora is trained at 32x16dim/alpha on (mostly) uncropped images with 512x768 bucketing over 25 images with ~4 base captions that are just in the form

where <category> is the body region (breasts, butt) where the marks are. I added additional captions to images where the model was pulling in details (IE: if it was adding running mascara to people's faces, I captioned the associated training images with "makeup" that so it wouldn't think that was part of the training).
Most LORA's like this that work well seem to be a combination of tapping into things in the underlying model more than they are providing all of the details on their own. The "busted" keyword is mostly just picked because it's neutral, SD knows how to associate the unet data with the CLIP concepts (whip marks, bruises, etc) even when it doesn't have the data already.
If you can create a gallery with some representative male photos in it (where there are marks localized in a region) and share it, I'd be happy throw it in the training data set and see if it comes through for a v2. It would almost certainly help generalize the concept in the lora if it works, but equal odds that it'll just water it down and stop working.
I'll also see if there's an easy way to put the training set and kohya trainer gui config file somewhere that you can download them, so you can give it a shot on your own.
Also, just from the small amount of testing I've done since you commented, I'm very impressed that you managed to get the examples you posted generated. You are right that it is incredibly strongly associated with female bodies
Excellent work! Would you be up for making a lora like this but it makes asses red in a way that looks like they've been spanked? I've come across 2 on here but neither works all that well for my favourite checkpoints :(
I assume you mean rosy-red lightly spanked, like this or more hard core bruised spanking like this? I could give either a shot but they probably would mix well in a single model.
I think it's an area that translates poorly for a lot of models because the OG models are actually pretty sparse in their ability to create the core poses, and it is very hard to train SD with concepts that boil down to subtle shifts in color. For my breast bondage model I had to manipulate the training rate per-block to get it to associate color strongly enough to be trainable.

No matter how much I give him negative prompts or lose his weight, he always generates more nipples than necessary. I have tried different checkpoints from Photon to DreamShaper, but it always gives me the same result. Any idea what may be going wrong?
Very impressive lora, one of the few that work with whips, appreciate it. Would there be a way to incorporate the action of whipping? For example: x person is being whipped and the whip is moving towards the individual or that one person is whipping another. Being trying to make this action but all models struggle with this and no lora is available for it. Thanks again
This is a great LORA for those SD 1.5 BDSM scenes. Do recommend. May want to dial the numbers a bit down it can alter background some, but those red cheeks are worth it dammmmmnnnnn boyyyy!
