Laura Maureen Bertram, born on September 5, 1978, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is a Canadian actress and educator. She is best known for her roles as Amanda Zimm in the television series Ready or Not (1993–1997) and as Trance Gemini in Andromeda (2000–2005). ​

Acting Career

Bertram's acting career began in the early 1990s with appearances in various television series. She gained prominence for her portrayal of Amanda Zimm in Ready or Not, a role that earned her two Gemini Awards for Best Performance in a Children's or Youth Program or Series in 1995 and 1998. She also played Trance Gemini in the science fiction series Andromeda, appearing in all 109 episodes from 2000 to 2005. ​

Her filmography includes roles in television series such as Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Robson Arms, Supernatural, and Once Upon a Time. She has also appeared in films like Night of the Twisters (1996), 50/50 (2011), and Gunless (2010). ​
