Jenny Wright is an American actress known for her work in film and television during the 1980s and 1990s.​

Early Life and Education

Born Jennifer G. Wright on March 23, 1962, in New York City, she developed an interest in acting at a young age. Wright studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and trained under renowned acting coach Stella Adler. ​

Acting Career

Wright made her film debut in 1982 as Cushie in The World According to Garp. That same year, she appeared as an American groupie in Pink Floyd – The Wall. She gained recognition for her role as Mae in the cult classic horror film Near Dark (1987), where she portrayed a young woman entangled with a group of nomadic vampires. ​
