I've had best results with waiSHUFFLENOOB_vPred20 with the DPM++ 2S a sampler.
Honestly, I think it's the sampler doing all the heavy lifting here. I only mention it because I didn't know that specific one existed until now. It was hidden in my forge install. Try it, it looks quite different.
Also while writing this I just realized waiSHUFFLENOOB is a Noobai model? And that's a separate base model from Illustrious? I assumed it was an illustrious merge or something. Whatever, I have no idea. But I used it for all the preview images, so I guess this is Noob compatible then.

It is kinda separated, but NoobAi works great with Illustrious, don`t know about Pony.
NoobAI is uber close to Illustrious and basically, twins, which you should watch out for is VPred,
this is a beast on its own.

The NoobAI XL vPred models and its various merges are basically a step up from Illustrious.
They were trained on a broader, better defined dataset, so just about every character/artist/concept with at least 50 images on Danbooru or e621 are included by default.
Also it handles lighting and composition a lot better than Illustrious in my experience.
@Marmadish Alright, good to know, thanks! I'm liking this vpred merge so I might stick with it. My loras seem to work for now, but I might have to start training on noobai soon.
