Ceara Coveney is a British actress born on August 8, 1997, in Swindon, Wiltshire, England. She developed an early interest in performing arts, attending Stagecoach Swindon for 13 years from the age of four. Coveney later pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Acting at the University of Northampton, graduating in 2018.
Her acting career began with roles in short films, including portraying Emma in "The Amazing World of Emma" (2019), Abigail in "Nothing Up My Sleeve" (2020), and Lucy in "The Track" (2021). In 2022, she appeared as Mia in four episodes of the television series "Young Wallander."
Coveney gained significant recognition for her role as Elayne Trakand in Amazon Prime Video's adaptation of "The Wheel of Time," joining the cast in its second season. Her casting was announced at New York Comic Con on October 8, 2021. To prepare for this role, she engaged in extensive research, including reading the series' first book, and underwent physical training such as horse riding and stunt bootcamps.
