Same here, it is quite nice but was not my first thought when I read the name. 😅 makes me think of Once Upon a Forest.

@CitronLegacy "organic helicopter" for some reason made an abomination pop into my head, like helicopter rotors made of human or animal limbs, etc.
@CitronLegacy As far as I know I don't know of any phrase that uses the title as a euphemism. No it was more that the name invoked the thought of body horror (like if it was muscle and gore) but Leaf Wing Helicopter would cover it in my humble opinion. 😀
This is an incredible lora.
The concept itself is yeah very cool, but also the lora is pure gold: it's versatile, and it consistently gens results that are both gorgeous and highly creative.
Whatever the training method for this one, it managed to create a lora faaaar more creative than the norm.

Interesting hmmm... I trained it the same way as my other scifi Loras. The difference must be simply that the AI didn't understand what it was looking at in the training images so it compensates with creativity.
SD1.5 used to do this like 50% of the time but XL rarely does this. It sounds like this is a special secret technique that has a lot of potential!
I'll try making more organic things so see if the theory is correct.
The Scifi Lora I have scheduled for next Scifi Saturday (May 10th) is organic-tech so it might be similar to this.

It definitely makes sense, and it's a good observation that SD1.5 tended more to creativity than XL loras do.
So in a way, the more advanced AI pattern matching and concept recognition gets, the less creative they're getting...
(at least until it learns to accept "now just stop pattern matching, and be plain creative".
But actually, IMO it'll never truly get there; in the whole debate going on atm about AI doomerism, only a few academics notice that the oft-predicted AI singularity had several potential paths; but this one based on pattern matching wasn't any one of them, cuz it inherently precludes either any unfettered creativity or consciousness. So the singularity/FOOM isn't coming).

@ravemry9 Its actually disappoint that XL lost the creativity of SD1.5. XL has great control and prompt adherence which satisfies most use cases and users but it doesn't "invent" new things as often. Granted SD1.5 was often off topic so that was kind of a deal breaker lol.
Recently I've been making a few "unstable" Loras to try to recreate the creativity of SD1.5 but also stay on topic.
When it comes to LLMs I cringe at how "uncreative" they are. When you ask to write a poem or story it seems like it always chooses from the same small pool of tones/themes/emotion and its like basic amateur writing that is more intelligent but still lame.
I think the fear people have about AI comes from people that don't see how weak AI's creativity is. AI is definitely a threat that will end certain jobs/tasks but not all things can be replaced by an uncreative AI.

Lol. But seriously, it depends. Many humans just aren't very creative, it's a low IQ capability thing. But the rest of us are more complex, we are capable but its inconsistent i.e. "writer's block" etc, in other words creativity can't be forced and it has to flow organically. And AI doesn't have this mental skillset at all, it's always logically deterministic and pattern-matching, it isn't actually capable of breaking that determinism and doing free-form.

That's a cool thing to try. I wonder if anyone else's experimented with this, it sounds like it may have good ROI. I didn't find anyone here or r/stablediffusion mentioning it.
Do you have a specific method for training this? ( -- I'd guess the Special Secret Technique you discussed earlier. lol.
But really, to train in a way SD won't think it seamlessly gets the concept, that sounds like there may be some cool techniques in there somewhere, introducing concepts in a way that prevents full AI grasp.)
