The model is focused on the positive USSR: alternative history, futurism, Soviet childhood, nostalgic subjects.

It doesn't have typical gloomy stamps - like fucked-up buildings, paneled houses, Khrushchevoks and barracks.

But for fans of the post-apocalypse added a little content - based on artwork and different themes.

The goal: to generate not western retro with a couple of Soviet elements (as most neural networks have now), but a more complete picture:

types of people (hairstyles, clothes),

environment (cars, interiors, architecture),

details of everyday life and other authentic elements.

It is unrealistic to create a dataset that would cover the entire variety of car brands, household items, etc.

*If you are interested in Soviet subjects and you have a sorted selection of photos for example on specific models of Soviet vehicles - you can share with me for future training. The requirements for such selections can be found in my blog.

**There is no Alisa Selezneva in this model yet because of very poor quality of photos with her - making datasets from such photos requires a lot of effort and time.

SDXL, a Soviet thematic model, is trained by finetuning and the dataset includes 6983 images.

The whole huge dataset I have ruled with pens including color and contrast. And the model from my point of view as a photographer generates good b/w - not seriatina! - but exactly black and white photos and has excellent color and light.

Also included in the training was a small dataset of FLUX LoRA Soviet_Era_AHS

provided by its author. I had to make new descriptions of these pictures under SDXL - but the original tag “Soviet_Era_AHS” is preserved.

The training took place on a simple merge of two models:

AlbedoBase XL v3.1 Large

and

theAramintaExperiment_ev4

Optimal parameters for use have not been defined. They are approximately the same for most popular SDXL models.

I'm using:

Steps: 60, Sampler: DPM++ 2M SDE, Schedule type: Karras, CFG scale: 5,

Building queries for this model. The main tags are specified at the beginning, followed by a description in plain language, and at the very end additional tags can be added.
