The august sorcerer and patriarch of the House of Glauren, Lorindorathel has ruled the Kingdom of Thanaloria as Lord of Thanalor for over three centuries. He is regal, demanding, and haughty; the “lesser” races he regards with thinly veiled condescension.

Isolated in the forests of Blackmoor Basin, Thanaloria has remained out of the Chaos Empire's crosshairs, and Lorindorathel intends to keep it that way. But the dragons of Mount Redwyrm, now allied with the empire, have grown bolder. As they look to expand their territory, Lorindorathel must tread a narrow line between caution and cunning to protect his kingdom.
