Update 1.5: You fool! That wasn't even my final form! finally cut out the burn effect that hurt some prompts at normal CFG like 7, for what I hope will be once and for all, and reduced the darkness even more. No more random super dark prompts and way fewer super saturated images, while keeping the model's personality intact. Done with MBW with Vodka v4.0 and Centerflex v1.0. Oh yeah, I also have an RTX 3090 now, so expect some fun training from me in the future.

    1.5 update quick start info:

    • <neg-sketch-2> negative embedding highly recommended for realism and 3D style images (among others).

    • When prompting for paintings, I suggest using framed, borders, photo as your negative prompt to get fullscreen images and cut out any weird 3D-like people.

    • When prompting for illustrations, I like to use photo, realistic as my negative prompt.

    • When prompting for realism, I normally use a negative prompt of <neg-sketch-2>, anime, render, pixar, illustration, sketch at 1.2 weight.

    • Garbage-bin LoHa recommended for some any silliness ;)

    • Example v1.5 images were generated using latent upscaling from close to ~512x resolution up a few hundred pixels each side at 0.55-0.65 strength w/ DDIM. This was followed up with an ESRGAN model upscale, then converting the image to latents and using ControlNet Tile in a latent to latent stage at 0.2-0.4 strength w/ DDIM.

My personal merge of Stable Diffusion 1.5 custom models using the noise offset to improve contrast and dark images. An inpainting model is provided to make inpainting in the model’s styles and detail easier.

I like to think of this model as being like base SD 1.5 hyped up on energy drinks and ADHD. Maybe some artist names aside (I don't use them ever, anyway), it has a lot of 1.5's general-purpose power, but has a much higher baseline detail and quality and can be very responsive, provided you're using appropriate settings.

This model is meant to be:

    • Artistic and elegant

    • Drop-dead easy to work with

    • Good at making cool characters and landscapes

    • Not bound or leaning towards any single style

    • Killer at digital and conventional art in many aesthetics

    • And above all, fun

It’s not so great at explicit sexual content and anime*, including anime-based embeddings. There’s a million other models for those if that’s what you’re after.

*There is some ability to bring out a neat anime aesthetic when you prompt for 'anime style', which I find to be quite cool to look at, although it can be a bit finicky. If you try to make anime-esque art with this model, do not put 'portrait' in your negative prompt, or use 'close' or 'closeup' in your positive prompt, as those seem to force it into a 3d-like style even if you add more weight on the anime style.

I want to also bring attention to whosawhatsis' verisimilitude, which is great at readily making wallpaper-quality photorealistic stuff.

I also want to shoutout coreco and his seek.art MEGA v2, which was responsible for much of the composition of V1.3-V1.4, and is an excellent update to his Mega model.

Example images were generated in Invoke AI. This means unless you use Invoke AI, you likely won't be able to recreate my images exactly. Just learn from the prompts and modify the weighting in prompts as needed for the UI you use (if you use the A1111 UI, any (plus sign)+ is equal to one set of parentheses).

By downloading, you agree to the creativeml-openrail-m and Dreamlike-art licenses.

    Credits (V1.4 / V1.3.5):

    Description

Alternate version of 1.4 that has a much lower proportion of noise offset, based on 1.3.5-less-dark.

    • Less accuracy and whimsicalness (generally, in my testing).

    • People who get bad luck with certain prompts unexpectedly tending towards darkness (such as "cinematic still frame") won't have to worry with this one quite as much.

    YMMV. Not extensively played with.

This is hands down my favorite model. I use a personal model that I have merged with 1.3 and it's by far the best model I have used in SD.. I am excited to see what this version brings to my mix! Thanks again! I will post a review as soon as I can test this.

Glad to hear it! I've heard plenty of positive reports in the past from simple merges for tuning it in to a personal preference, so hearing yet another is nice. BTW, you might not notice a whole lot of difference, depending on what you're merging with and the kind of things you generate. 1.3.5 was just an addition of Portrait+ since portraits were tricky in 1.3, and 1.4 is just a down-weighting for stability, since the model got to be pretty overbaked. In theory, if the model you're merging with was already solid for portraits and your mixing already rounded out the overbaked 1.3, you might not notice much. But I've been told 1.4 seems to be more well-rounded at photographic style and is less rigid with posing and camera angles, so YMMV.

@526christian I will toy around with both tonight, thanks for the feedback!

Hi, thanks for your good work.

Where is Seek.Art mega v2, the link seems to be v1?

Oopsie, that link was from before Mega v2 released, I didn't realize it would only go up on Civit. Anyway, it's right here: https://civitai.com/models/1315/seekart-mega

what's wrong with the site? I don't see models version. And I could swear there was an april updated for 526mix, but know it has the end of march again oO

CivitAI did a sizable update, model versions are now at the top of the page under the model's title with arrows to pan through the versions. Assuming it's displaying correctly, anyway. Lots of weird things have been bugged or not working.

The last mix release was indeed March with 1.4, so that seems right at least. The update you saw was probably me adding the inpainting 1.4 model - https://civitai.com/models/15022?modelVersionId=34187 and the alternate less-dark 1.4 - https://civitai.com/models/15022?modelVersionId=34204

@526christian inpainting, huh? Hmm.. I thought the april update was a kind of quickpatch to the main file...

How come the images I generated are different? Are there any helpful files and videos to learn? I just played a lot and didn't understand!

Were you trying to recreate my images exactly? If so, there's a lot of variables:

    - The UI you're using. I generated these all in InvokeAI, which means the prompts have different syntaxing from another UI like Automatic1111's for how weighting parts of the prompts work, and even if you converted it'd still be a tad different because it's different software with different conditioning.

    - Your mode of high-res fix / optimization and strength. That's also different and locked in in InvokeAI, whose high-res fix is an automated upscale using img2img.

    - The sampler and step counts you're using.

    - My images were generated with the model converted for Diffusers format, not a checkpoint, which also changes the output.

Nonetheless, as long as you're using prompts that fit your software's features, the way the model interprets prompts should still be similar even if you can't replicate my exact output (which again, would require using InvokeAI).

I love the detail and realism of the art this generates, it's so much more impressive than all of the others I use in InvokeAI. I'm having an issue trying to do outpainting in which it generates these tiny blocks instead of the usual art. Any ideas as to what I may be doing wrong?

Do you have your image to image strength cranked up high when outpainting (preferably at 1)? I know that can happen when the strength is low. If that's not it, what setting do you have for infill method? Patchmatch is preferable if possible.
