This May is from Pokémon Adventures manga where she is Professor Birch daughter instead of Norman where she does gym battle instead being a Coordinator like from the show
@nickjward7838 I like the "normal" May but I think I prefer Sapphire.
Oh I didn't understand the significance that she is Birch's daughter not Norman's until you said that! Now it makes sense that she is so different if she is from a different family.
