ComicMix:
This model focuses on a western comic book art style such as Marvel Comics and DC Comics with influences from Jim Lee and Todd Mcfarlane. It has a Bias towards Women and sexy attire. Prompting for Men can sometimes be a bit tricky.
Here are my go to settings for generating Images with v3.25:
Sampling: euler a
Steps: 15 - 25
Dimensions: 512x640
CFG: 7 and below
Addetailer for faces
Upscaler: 4x-UltraSharp

sighs in defeat XD I keep pushing both of mine to be specific representations of eras of comics and as an elder millenial i'm reminded that the 90s had really bad art XD EDIT: This was meant to be a bad comment about my model not This one and rightly so Aihelper misunderstood me and that's my fault not theirs <3

@TheAiHelper I apologize PROFUSLEY ON THAT ONE I WAS pertaining to Poltergeist and Osenayan Illustration where i've been trying to regain JoeMad/Andy Kubert days but a lot of the aesthetic scoring on SD doesn't claim much on those
@duskfallcrew Yeah the 90s where ... well something XD But I have to say there was great Artwork too, Miller, Mcfarlane, Lee. And to be honest Liefield was not That bad XD

@TheAiHelper I made sure to edit my comment AND leave my original part to it so people understood my intentions LOL. I sigh in defeat beacuse as a model creator i keep seeking STYLES rather than overall compatibility XD
@duskfallcrew my plan is to get the overall estetics without leaning to heavy in one era or style or artist.

It seems to generate good images but the finished product looks grey and the color is washed out. Any idea of why this might be? I've tried all combinations of sampler type and seps.
Hi, so there is a lot of retro comics in this model so that's where the muted, washed out colors come from. You can use "colorful, vivid colors" in your prompt and "monochrome, greyscale, retro, vintage" in your negative, that helps a bit with colors(Take a look at my example images for prompts). Or you can use a color ajustment Lora. I am working on the next version already and better colors is on the top of my to-do ;-) I hope that helps you. I could give more/better tips if I could see your results and prompts.
@TheAiHelper Yes I've tried adding prompts to help with this but with no change. The weird thing is, in the preview images when the picture is being generated, I can see it seems to have bright, vibrant colors. But the finished image is just really dull, as if some kind of filter was applied at the very end. I can upload a picture to show you what I mean
@scottreesor After taking a look at you Image, and recreating it(IMAGE), I am still not sure what exactly the problem is but I have some general tips for you:
- Please read my Prompting Guide
- Try switching your negative embbedings (I recomment BadDream and Beyond Negative)
- Try vae-ft-mse-840000 as VAE
- You can use THIS to controll the colors(Or look around for something similar)
- Take a look at my Example Images for Prompt Mods
But Like I sayd before the endresults are a bit dull because that's how retro/vintage comics look and there is a lot of that in there. I hope this may help you.

Here's how I did it, maybe it will help
I use: (bad quality:1.2, worst quality:1.2), lowres, botched, blurry, sketch, poorly drawn, bad art, blurry, grainy, watermark, patreon logo, artist name, bad hands, missing fingers, extra fingers,Extra limbs, extra hands, extra legs, deformities,
as a negative prompt
And add (best quality:1.17), (masterpiece:1.17), after the positive prompt. I found that the more emphasis is placed on a word like monochrome, the more it promotes its generation.
And too many positive prompts will also have bad effects.
I also use cfg:4 to generate, I don’t know if it has any effect.
It will still spawn monochrome occasionally, but it's definitely more effective than adding more negative prompts
@hoxv00186 you too should read my prompting guide! "(bad quality:1.2, worst quality:1.2)" this is basically the same tokens doubled and weighted - you gain no quality improvement from this, bad and/or worst makes no difference. Also you got "Blurry" double in your prompt. "bad hands, missing fingers, extra fingers,Extra limbs, extra hands, extra legs" Those are useless! I don't know why people still use them. use "low resolution" instead of "lowres". You do yourself(and in this case others) no favor with prompting like that.
@hoxv00186 This is not a prompt issue. Believe me, I've tried tons of combinations, positive and negative., Loras, embeddings, I was just hoping there was a technical issue I was missing, but mine seems to be a problem we're not considering. I've been using other animation models fine, so it seems to be isolated with this one.
@scottreesor Well you don't really gave me a lot but THIS prompting is bad. And THIS is my Example on how you should prompt it! I gave you all the examples and tips. Options on what you could change or try. There are tons of Images in the gallerie showing this model works fine! If you won't do/try what I recomment I can't help you! But the problem is on your side. And again: This model has a lot of Retro comics in it so it will not produce bright, vivid or neon colors on it's own. Please try what I recommendet, upload some more images(so I can see different results). Otherwise I don't know how to help you. Because I don't see what you do/get. I am getting a little frustrated here.
And a note on the side: I tryd to force the Anime out of this model. You can't treat it like other animation/Anime Models. The whole point is to not be like those models.
@TheAiHelper I apologize for being difficult. I feel like we're talking past each other. I tried your prompts EXACTLY including all the embeddings and still came to the same result. I appreciate all your help, truly! I'm just thinking its some kind of compatibility issue with my system and nothing do do you with your model. Clearly its not an issue I can see with anyone else's images.
@scottreesor Please load some more Images up so I can take a look at your results and settings. With my prompts and settings you should be able to get results similar to the images in the galllerie. If you can't reproduce those results maybe it is some sort of technical fluke. But there are so many factors like hardware and software ... I would not know where to start troubleshooting.

@scottreesor All right! I am sorry but I have no clue why your Image are like that! Prompts are fine, settings are fine ... That's weird! The only thing I can think is check if everything is up to date and maybe try redownloading(if you haven't already). Are you using Automatic1111? Are you using you GPU or CPU to generate seeds? Maybe some settings are "messed up"?
@TheAiHelper I'm using Automatic1111through a GPU through google colab. I'll try redownloading the model
