The great primordial dragon Desolation was born at the dawn of time. It’s said he fed on dying stars and that his roar could shatter moons. Between conquests, he slumbered for millennia in the Beyond, home of gods and goddesses.

But eventually, all life decays and comes to an end. The same is true of Desolation. His end, however, was just the beginning. His flesh has rotted, but his hunger endures.

Possibilus the Wise was there when his world, Nyuuldus, was broken by the dracolich in a great war that ended in a cataclysm of fire. The sacred rune tablets of his kin were shattered and scattered into the timestream, hurled like sparks from a dying flame. Possibilus was chosen, tasked with recovering the fragments, finding a way back, and stopping the unstoppable before it begins.

But Desolation followed.

The Conclave Arcana’s search for the secret of Praetoria echoes like a beacon through the ether, and the dracolich was listening. He knows the Splinterlands. He knows the power it holds. If the secret is unearthed, it won’t be for some inconsequential little insects.

It will be for him.
