Lol "few entries". They should limit the number of entries per person imo.
Right, they should handle the next contest differently. Now the collection seems like an endless swamp of the same images.
I was concerned. should really be just 1 entry. let people pick from their selection of 5000 for just the best they got like a normal competition.
@saturngfx I think one entry is too little. I think 10 would be an excellent compromise. I would be incredibly disappointed if I could only choose a single character to represent in the competition.
Also, remember that only images created after the beginning of the competition are allowed. So no huge pool to pick from, gotta make new ones. I suppose someone could load up the prompt and seed, but... can only do so much to keep the cheaters at bay. Gotta find a balance.
And for those looking to take things in a completely different direction, there's nothing like a good high-quality cyberpunk resource given way too few steps (restricted steps = more gritty/dusty aesthetic) and a good healthy dose of vintage realism photoquality... to make a better Industrial Era Steampunk look than even the highly trained Steampunk LoRAs can do. And this is high-quality, certainly!
