This negative embedding intends to fix deformed (oval-shaped, weird, etc.) irises in SD 1.5 based models.
It may or may not work well for you. After some months since its initial release people say it does and have used it often. It might be placebo, given that high resolution images, Adetailer eyes, upscales and luck can also provide the same results. I posted the original 'before and after' image, in which you can see the 'after' result doesn't have deformed irises.
It's a negative embedding, so put it in the folder where your SD interface looks for embeddings, and put badIrisNeg in the negative prompt. Add the prompt 'deformed iris' to the negative prompt field too. You can also add 'oval iris' and/or 'asymmetrical iris' as it was trained on images with those tags.

Description
Updating this is a very, very, very low priority for me. If you are good at making embeddings (textual inversions) and have some tips, please comment.

I owe ya a beer! You've saved me TONS of time in Photoshop correcting irises. Long range, medium range, close up... round irises! I'm running a butt-load of LORAs in my faerie pics - all trying to butt heads and make the eyes their battlefield. Not anymore. Thank you! (NOTE: HiRes Fix with 4x Ultrasharp doesn't play nice with it, but that's the ONLY one I've found so far.)
This also fixes that weird glow on one side of the white that almost every model makes? I've been trying to figure out why they do that, and how to get rid of it. I hope this works!
Dunno about that. It can do that, but not reliably. It did it in the example images, which was nice but it still happens. And it happens usually because of Adetailer, which is otherwise great. I'll have to look into 'Adetailer glow removal' prompt or neg embedding as it bothers me too.
Ok thanks. I notice it in many models on their own, maybe they have Adetailer in the mixes or something. It seems like the models are trying to give a refraction of light into the sclera from the lens, based on the left hand light sourcing they all seem to do. It might even be present in real photos, but just amplified by the AI. I am trying different things too, will let you know if I get any revelations.
@MysteryWrecked ok long time coming, but i found the glow was caused by a vae. using a different vae solved it for me. not sure if we're talking about the same glow, but you can see it in the first non-embedding example image I posted for this embedding.
Awesome! I'm using it in the neg fields for adetaler eye .pt along with perfect eyes lora. I can tell now I'm getting perfect eyes in 99% of generations!
nice!
I'm glad it helps you :)
