Dafne Schippers is a Dutch track and field athlete. Schippers has achieved significant success in the 200 meters and 100 meters sprint events. One of her most notable achievements came in the 2015 World Championships in Beijing, China, where she won the gold medal in the 200 meters and the silver medal in the 100 meters. Her performance in the 200 meters established her as one of the top sprinters in the world. She successfully defended her 200 meters title at the 2017 World Championships in London. Schippers initially began her athletic career as a heptathlete, but she transitioned to sprinting and achieved great success.
