Folen Flameye earned his name in the blood-soaked border wars of Lyveria, where shire sheriffs told tales of a mercenary with a crimson eye who was always the last one standing when the dust settled. Some say his eye burns with magic. Others claim it’s all that remains of a curse he survived. But anyone who’s fought beside him (or against him) knows one thing: if Folen’s still standing, the fight isn’t over.

When he wades into the fray, enemies hesitate. Maybe it’s the way he stands, shoulders squared, weapon raised, daring someone to swing first. Or maybe it’s the stories. They say his armor is forged from the shields of those who tried and failed. That he once was trampled by a charging centaur and kept fighting with crushed ribs and a mouthful of blood.

Now he fights for the Conclave Arcana. Mahkah Hemlig brought him to the Broken Lands to cut a path through the brambles that slow her and the fey who oppose her.

Folen doesn’t care about the secret of Praetoria. He’s here for the coin, the carnage, and the satisfaction of watching faster foes falter when they meet his blade. When the lines clash, he plants his feet and holds. Slows the charge. Gives those behind him room to strike.

The Fellowship of the Silverleafs can break their blades on him, but he’ll make damn sure they bleed for it.
