Hello. The SDXL Version says "Flux" when i try to download. Wrong file?
Yep, wrong one! I have uploaded the correct file.
Great. Thank you :-)
I saw that movie more than 30 years ago now.... so much nostalgia....
Awesome style!
aaaah i love this series. Please consider Gremlins, Ghostbusters or Suspiria.
Will definitely look at those. Ghostbusters and Gremlins are definitely in the same vein, they have surprisingly muted palettes though. I'll have to take a closer look at the scenes with the practical effects.
Susperia is definitely eye candy though, I will tackle that one soon!
@BuffaloSymphony Suspiria is gonna be super overthetop. It's most def not gonna be unnoticed. I love dramatic color palettes. Suspiria shares color palette with Inferno (another Dario Argento movie) and Mario Bavas movies like Blood and Black Lace and Black Sabbath (specially the segment "the phone"). I'm just giving you ideas for the dataset. But you probably know already those movies. I'd personally like to make a lora about Bava's Black Sunday which has one of the most impressive photography of all time.
@ElectricDreams I created the Suspiria dataset already, I sadly only have one GPU but I'll get around to it. Will also look into Black Sunday!
@BuffaloSymphony Inferno is exquisite visually and may complement the Suspiria images, but I enjoy both films so much aesthetically. It will be wonderful to see the aesthetic of Suspiria captured in a LoRA.
Just to mention other movies with very particular aesthetics. At this point i'm just throwing ideas out. Just in case.
The fall (2006) it's a very interesting movie with superb photography. It's from the director of the Cell. Underrated movie but truly visually breathtaking.
Samsara and Baraka or any Ron Fricke movies for that matter. More in the documentary style, i'm afraid, but it's practically a worldwide image dataset.
For 80s spicy aesthetics with a lot of focus in spectacular nightime stills: "The night before" (1988) and "one from the heart" (1982) from the same director of photography: Ronald Victor Garcia who was also the photography director of Twin Peaks. In "one from the heart" he works with Storaro so it's a gorgeous film. Every second is literally a painting.
At this point i'm ok if people just watch these movies.
Thanks for the recommendations! I put out a Suspiria model the other day, btw. Hope you like it.
@BuffaloSymphony lol i didn't see it until now that you mentioned. I'been waiting for the suspiria lora for days. XD. Oh ok, i haven't seen it because its a Flux lora, not sdxl. Mmm... i don't use Flux these days, but I'll see if i can do something.
lol love your stuff
are there tags for specific characters?
No, that is in violation of ToS nowdays. This is just a general style LoRA
BuffaloSymphony that's the same it must be hard to make something in the style of a movie without using the movie as reference
