Issues: I think it should overall be okay. If anything it MIGHT have some issues regarding the white buttons on his pants as I forgot to properly tag them within the training process, but I didn't notice any noticeable problems with them in my tests so probably not.

2D - Trained off mainly his appearances within some more recent comics. But also some general offical 2D art aswell too.
3D - Trained off his 3D model within both sonic generations and superstars, so it's kinda a blend of the two....sorta.
