Hanoj is no mere forest spirit. The red ribbons on her clothing are physical manifestations of ancient oaths that keep her divine power in check.

The Observer: As long as her bindings (ribbons) remain intact, she walks upright, elegant, and controlled through the shadows of the world.
The Beast: Should a taboo be broken or a ritual oath dissolved, the sinews snap. Hanoj sheds her humanoid form and undergoes a full animal transformation. She becomes a massive, shadow-like fox with glowing eyes, hunting silently through the undergrowth of the primeval forests.
