Flux Krea Diff LoRa – The Best of Both Worlds
Today, I spent some time exploring FLux Krea. While I really like its style, I noticed that many existing Flux LoRAs—especially the 42lux-Hiresfix LoRA—don’t work as well with Krea.
In particular, Hiresfix LoRA doesn’t function properly with Krea anymore.
To solve this, I came up with a new approach.
Since Krea uses Flux as its base model, their weights are very similar. This allowed me to subtract the two and extract a new LoRA from the difference.
With the Flux Krea Diff LoRa, you can now enjoy the unique style of Krea along with the model functionality of Flux—the best of both worlds combined.

interesting is if this lora fixes problems with hands when applied with power less than 1
Yeah, I noticed that too — hands are more problematic compared to base Flux. The Krea look gets a bit more controllable through the LoRA weight, but hands still seem a bit worse, even at weights around 0.7. I haven’t tested lower than that yet though.

Using this LoRA together with Krea seems to reduce the vertical lines that sometimes Flux Krea dev shows if you set the weight negative about -0.20 to -0.25.

I downloaded and tried to load in InvokeAI, it failed. Then I extracted the diff myself using Kohya and worked. The files are almost the same, but it seems this one here is missing some metadata.
Using this onsite with regular Flux Dev produces drastically different results on the same seed than using Flux Krea itself onsite for the same prompt, FYI.
Yeah, it’s just a diff between the two models anyway. If you wanna get results that are closer to Krea, try out Trillian — I tried to keep Krea’s character unchanged in that one:
