Background: Born into poverty in the crowded slums of Dragon’s Hold, Skyrath, Raizen Kings grew up surrounded by hardship, violence, and the constant struggle to survive. Raised alongside his sister by their hardworking mother, Raizen learned early that strength, determination, and a quick wit were essential to making it through each day. Seeking a better life for himself and his family, he enlisted in the Skyrath Military as a young man, where he spent several years honing his combat abilities, developing discipline. However, Raizen’s restless spirit and desire for freedom eventually led him to leave military service and join the Rift Hunters, where he could put his skills to use while exploring the world beyond Skyrath. Throughout his travels, Raizen studied numerous martial arts under warriors and masters from different cultures, gradually developing a unique fighting style that blends disciplined military techniques with fluid, unpredictable movements and devastating close-quarters strikes. His greatest achievement came when he mastered the exceptionally rare ability to channel lightning mana directly through his own body, enhancing his speed, reflexes, and striking power without relying on conventional weapons. Now 42 years old, Raizen is a seasoned Fighter serving in the Skyrath Division of the Rift Hunters, renowned for his combat prowess, charismatic personality, and carefree attitude. Despite his confidence and occasional recklessness, he possesses a strong sense of justice. When he isn't hunting Riftborn or seeking out worthy opponents, Raizen can usually be found traveling, enjoying good food or getting himself into "good" trouble. Though his adventures have taken him across distant lands, he remains deeply connected to his roots, regularly supporting his mother and sister in South Skyrath. To Raizen, life is meant to be lived freely, challenges are meant to be overcome, and there's always another adventure waiting beyond the horizon.
