Training Details for v1.0(IllustriousXL-v0.1):
Dataset: This version was trained on a curated dataset of diverse, high-resolution chibi illustrations, focusing on various character types, outfits, and expressions to ensure versatility and consistency. The dataset emphasized clean, isolated characters, contributing to the model's ability to generate figures on simple backgrounds.
Target Style: Our primary goal was to capture the essence of "cute" and "kawaii" in the chibi aesthetic, making sure the signature big-head, small-body proportions are well-represented.
Configuration:
Network Size & Alpha: Trained with a Network Rank (Dimension) of 8 and Alpha of 4, providing a good balance between expressiveness and file size.
Learning Rate Strategy: Utilized a constant learning rate schedule, optimized for stable convergence and quality output.
Precision: Saved in fp16 precision for optimal performance and smaller file size without significant quality loss.
Resolution: Dataset images were processed at 832x1216, ensuring fine details were captured during training.
What to Expect:
This initial release is robust and ready to generate charming chibi characters right out of the box.
The shinjitsu_chibi trigger word is highly effective in activating the style.
