Landscape Photography
Landscape photography is a genre centered on natural or humanistic landscapes, aiming to capture the aesthetic characteristics and emotional atmosphere of the environment.
Its core value lies in transforming regional features (such as mountains, rivers, lakes, seas, and forests), seasonal light and shadow (such as morning mist, sunset glow, and snow scenes), and traces of time (such as sunrises and sunsets, and rolling clouds) into visual works through lens language, conveying the beauty of nature or the symbiotic relationship between humanity and nature.
Three key elements need to be focused on during creation:
Composition: Techniques like the rule of thirds, leading lines, and frame composition are commonly used to build a sense of order in the picture;
Light: Priority is given to the golden hour (1 hour after sunrise/before sunset) or blue hour, using soft light to enhance the layering of the picture;
Perspective: Break the conventional visual experience through low angles (to highlight the foreground), high positions (to show grandeur), or special angles (such as reflections), allowing ordinary landscapes to present unique charm.
