By golly they did ladies different back in the day. Memories of me watching this anime back when it was new. Nowadays, just about every lady has to look like they came from middle school or part of the high school student council with how short and young they seem. Even the adult women in modern anime don't really look like women unless they happen to be lawyers or politicians, then suddenly they look the age.
They really were just built different back then!
@JLFO The same with male characters. It became rather apparent to me once when played a Gundam game with characters from different Gundam animes. The in game characters made for the game area modern style, but then one sees the original main character from the first Gundam anime and it is such a vast difference in looks.
@adondlin255 Its a shame the style went away, but those retro anime had so much work and effort put into them ,companies today wouldn't allow those kinda projects to be made now 😔😔
