It's a 3D character in Illustrious, so it kinda struggled with that. I tagged the training images with "3d, realistic" but using both prompts during generation gave unsatisfactory result. Omitting both will turn the result into anime style which is probably what some people want but the thing is in anime style it tend to give the model side bangs/side lock which is not accurate and I have no idea where that came from.
In the end I found the best result is by having "realistic" in positive and "3d" in negative. Then add things like "2d" or "anime shading" in positive to further flatten the style but not turning it into full anime style. Check my example pics for more.

I've been tinkering with Anima for a while, still not sure if I will stick with it or back to Illustrious as training Anima is more expensive (because of the license) and I'm almost running out of yellow buzz.

By default the 3D style is strong but you can try finding combination of checkpoint, style LoRAs, and prompts to create one style you're satisfied with
