She performs consistently across full body, 3/4 and portrait compositions without collapsing into face-only shots.

Hello, really interesting concept!
May I ask you why using PONY instead of the more advanced ILLUSTRIOUS?
May be because IL is not so good for real people, jet?

I actually chose Pony mainly to diversify the faces.
Many Pony-based models tend to generate very similar, doll-like features when prompted without a character LoRA — beautiful but a bit lifeless.
My goal with Masha was to bring more individuality and variation into that ecosystem — a character who still fits the Pony look but feels more real and expressive.
I haven’t trained a LoRA on Illustrious yet, but it’s definitely on my list — might be time to see how it handles personality and realism compared to Pony.
@masamunexage Illustrious is quite better in precision (hands, legs etc...) and much better in "binding" (can handle two characters or more complex scenes with less attribute swapping).
As you only need a SOLO image doing nothing (ie: portrait) , you wont see many differences in comparison to Pony)
Also, Illustrious still has not many good Checkponts for photorealism, hoping is just a question of time to see improvements about this...
