Gyaru fashion, Opera Viking woman singer and Yuki-onna! Jynx's mixture of inspirations are actually pretty fascinating! Sad she didn't got a Mega-Evolution!
Wow I can't believe I didn't notice the Opera Viking design until now!
Now that you've listed all these inspirations I'd want to see a normal evolution that splits into each of the 3:
Yuki-onna -> maybe Ice-Ghost with a long floating dress and elegant curvy shape.
Viking -> maybe Ice-Water with Viking elements like a big shield with Norse runes.
Gyaru... I'm so biased because I can only think of Nagatoro even though I know there are lots of other Gyaru characters lol. Maybe a Icy-Fairy type with a lot of fashion elements?
@CitronLegacy If Mr.Mime can get a regional variation, perhaps Jynx can do to
For the Viking part I was thinking something to highlight her Opera influence!
In this time of conflict, let us focus on what unites us. Pokemon Generation 1 supremacy, obviously
Pokemon Generation 1 Supremacy 💯
LOL Its amazing how creative gen 1 is.
@CitronLegacy Yes they had such interesting and creative concepts back then. Except for Voltorb, that was just a poke ball that exploded, must have been a friday afternoon before a three day weekend design. 🤔
@ronaldmikhailp236 Loool Awww don't hate on Voltorb. As a kid that was the only Pokemon I could draw. But yeah you are right 🤣
I would love to hear about what they were thinking when they designed each Pokemon. Those days were a magic time that redefined not just game design but design overall.
@CitronLegacy Snorlax was based on some programmer that spent his time eating and napping. That one is in the bulbapeida. Image the prank becoming part the biggest franchise on the planet.
