there's nothing in the description, but the Illustrious version appears to be merged with something like LCM or DMD2 or some other factor that breaks it for your standard SDXL generation.

Yes, that's right. Improvements include more IL triggers and more of the typical IL body shape. Will this remain a dream? Until then, an imgtoimg from a standard IL can help.
What does the V2.1 brings that the previous 2.0 i got from TA didn't?
It's the same. I just use a different numeration on civitai. Cheers.

I seldom use SDXL but i like checking some realistic finetune once in a while to test SDXL specific LoRA (and all your cool embeddings :D)
