This is an SDXL architecture lora for the style of buildings and settlements in the Steelpunk style.

Steelpunk is a style of punk that is sort of a cross between the Atompunk era and the Cyberpunk era. It is marked by emerging tall skyscrapers that look like realistic 80s skyscrapers with aspects that subtly look Cyberpunk in nature. Many of the regular buildings where most people live tend to look decayed and run down due to a large disparity between the wealth classes.

The technology of the Steelpunk era has a heavy use of steel and looks like a proto version of the type of technology found in Cyberpunk settings. The movie Johnny Mnemonic is listed as Cyberpunk, yet it also takes place in the late stages of a Steelpunk era. What is notable about that movie is that it adds the idea for the laser wire finger that can be used in the Cyberpunk 2077 video game. The computers in the Steelpunk setting look 1980s in nature, yet are more advanced than the typical computer of that decade. The same with computer chips, such as the kind used in Robocop that looks simplistic yet is capable of being part of an advanced cyborg.

Another aspect of the Steelpunk genre is a more gritty version of war and battle. It is a time of more gritty variations of contra, post Vietnam war style fighting across the world and within nations. Mercenaries and private armies become a more common thing, along with more brutal and violent gangs in cities. Corruption in companies and governments are on the rise and corporations start acting more and more like what is typical in Cyberpunk corporations. Steelpunk also includes stories involving post apocalyptic stories that came about from different reasons like war, economic collapse, and natural disasters.

Examples of Steelpunk stories include the movies Robocop, The Terminator, the Mad Max series, Johnny Mnemonic, and anime like Fist of the North Star and the Sword Art Online anime world of Gun Gale Online. Examples of video games involving Steelpunk include any involving Robocop and Terminator, as well as Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet which takes place in the Sword Art Online world of Gun Gale Online.

A weight of 0.8 to 1 works well with this with most models and depending on certain models. Sampling Steps of 15 to 35 works well with most models, as does a CFG Scale of 3.5 to 7.5.
