The NL SemiReal model perfectly blends reality and stylized illustration, creating characters that appear both lifelike and artistic. It can generate characters with bold features like vibrant hair, expressive eyes, and unique accessories, while maintaining a sense of ease and artistry. The generated images range from realistic portraits to more fantastical designs, focusing on details such as makeup, clothing, and atmosphere, delivering unique visual experiences.

The model has issues with fingers — a recurring trait in nearly all Illustrious-based checkpoints for realistic and semi-realistic generations I’ve tested. For some reason, anime versions handle hands with minimal artifacts. Therefore, complex hand poses may require extra attention: inpainting or ControlNet to achieve clean results.

For the face, it is necessary to use ADetailer
