They've got a VAE embedded in a LORA. Or the other way around. You can load the LORA part in the prompt but I don't think that is what is intended. It gets rejected as a VAE by my A1111 set-up because it detects the LORA part and throws the error message.
Either they've set up to by-pass the error or the error message is being suppressed and it's defaulting to the Realanimark models internal VAE.
TL:DR
Works like a LORA, can't get VAE to work right now and probably not worth it. The LORA seems to work as a nice little 2D to 2.5D "sexiness" slider, needs pruning.
UPDATE
Went ahead and separated everything anyway, the VAE is the standard 840000 version.
which model is it for? because it doesn't work....

@MarcosDesign It appears you've mislabeled a LORA as a VAE. They are completely different types of models. A Lora modifies your text encoder and unet weights (used for interpreting your prompt and running the denoising steps respectively). A VAE is the model that converts the finished latent image into an rgb image (or encodes an image to a latent for img2img).
@m99 It's not about Lora. I use it as a VAE and not as a Lora. It works on my machine correctly.

this is not vae, vae's usually end with .ckpt. please fix it
This is not true. They can be distributed as .ckpt files, but as .safetensors files as well. The latter is safer, btw.
