    Flux Kontext – 3D Printed

This LoRA converts a subject in an input image into a realistic 3D-printed model, as if it were produced on an entry-level consumer FDM printer using PLA filament.

The output is not a generic “toy” or smooth plastic figurine. It intentionally recreates the look of real hobbyist 3D prints, including visible layer lines, subtle print artefacts, and believable scale.

The model understands how printed objects are typically photographed and displayed, such as being held in a person’s hand, placed on a desk, shelf, or table, or shown near consumer 3D printers and workspaces.

    Base Trigger Phrase (Required)

“Convert this image into a 3d printed model in a PLA style plastic. It should look like it was printed on an entry level consumer 3d printer.”

This establishes the physical print context and should always be included.

    What You Control via Prompting

After the trigger phrase, you can specify:

    • Colour of the filament
(e.g. red PLA, blue PLA, white PLA, black PLA, yellow PLA, rainbow PLA, grey PLA)

    • Model type / format

      • Bust

      • Full figure

      • Stylised figurine

      • Model

      • Display statue

    • Placement / scene

      • In a man’s hand

      • On a desk

      • On a shelf

      • On a table

      • In a workshop or home office

      • Near a consumer 3D printer

    • Style and subject detail
Works with humans, characters, creatures, busts, and stylised designs.

What This LoRA Is Good At

    • Convincing FDM layer lines and PLA surface texture

    • Correct real-world scale relative to hands and everyday objects

    • Clean but realistic prints (not resin-smooth)

    • Consistent “hobbyist print” look rather than factory-made products

    What This LoRA Is Not

    • Not a resin print simulator

    • Not designed for extreme print failures or heavy damage

    • Not meant to create rough, low-quality or broken prints

The goal is a clean, believable consumer 3D print, not a deliberately failed one.

    This LoRA is ideal for:

    • Visualising how a character or design would look as a 3D print

    • Creating mock-ups before actual printing

    • Generating collectible figurine concepts

    • Presenting “printed version” comparisons from photos or artwork
