Anime–Realism Hybrid SDXL Checkpoint (SFW & NSFW)

DiamondForge XL is a handcrafted anime–realism hybrid SDXL checkpoint developed through months of iterative merging, A/B testing, and multi-stage difference merges during 2024–early 2025.

Built from SDXL base with carefully balanced Pony Realism and Pony Anime influences, the goal was never purity — it was cohesion. The result is a character-focused model that blends anime facial structure with realistic lighting, materials, anatomy, and expression, while remaining forgiving to prompt style and CFG tuning.

DiamondForge XL responds well to photography-style prompts (lens cues, studio lighting), handles both vibrant and muted color palettes, and can produce clean environments, though it is optimized primarily for character-focused work.

Recommended Settings

• Resolution: 832×1216 (best overall), also works at 768×1152

• CFG: ~4.6–5.2 (lower CFG produces more natural results)

• Steps: 28–36

• Samplers: DPM++ SDE Karras, Euler / Euler a

• VAE: SDXL or built-in VAE both work well

Notes

• Designed for stylized realism rather than gritty documentary realism

• Performs best below high CFG values

• NSFW content is supported.

• Can respond well to SDXL Loras. (Sometimes at past 1.0 values)
