To be clear, because it's a slider that means a negative value will make the subject look away? Is there any way to control the direction of where they're looking with consistency?
It was trained with the negative value meaning the words 'looking away'. This doesn't allow for fine grained direction control. I have a 'looking left' slider but it's not consistent.
That's what I was hoping for, too.
Due to original training, most generations I do are already 'looking at viewer,' so I'd love to get something that reverse that.
Could you explain how to use the negative prompt for this (and other sliders)? Do you put "looking away" in the positive prompt and the lora itself in the negative, or do you use a negative value for the lora in the positive prompt? I can't seem to get reliable results for the negatives (positives work fine though). Thanks in advance.
@SnowSultan The v1.0s have a bug where negatives don't work very well. I have a fix for this here: https://sliders.ntcai.xyz/sliders/app/loras/d2b4894c-7315-42d8-b6b6-25a0dbbc7c45
I'll probably bundle it with another fix that doesn't require trigger words.
@ntc That requires the Patreon subscription, correct? (I will probably join at some point). :) Thank you very much.
if you are trying to get people to turn around and face away from the camera this LoRA won't do that, just a heads up.
not working. SD telling "not an SDXL model"
Which program? It's definitely an XL lora, maybe open a bug with the program?
this is not a model bro, this is lora
@MrE_ i KNOW its not a model. SD is telling me that message that its not a SXDL model
@ntc A1111 1.7
omg this is AMAZING. Your sliders saved me a lot of time prompting. I heart you. Thank you.
Thanks! Theres several thousand that are available to patrons. Many are merges.
I'm also working on a private lora creation tool as well but it's not live yet - getting closer!
Does it work in ADetailer in SD1.7? I tried with no result :((
I'm not sure what SD1.7 is, this is for sdxl.
Does it work with PonyXL?
Pony has a different CLIP and a different latent so kind of but not really. I have one that works better with pony but it's not released here yet.

Any plan making "looking down" lora? Im struggling to make the character eyes/pupil look down/below. 😭
yes, XL is terrible for prompting eye direction. the couple existing sliders are hit and miss but also point the face in the intended direction. i'd love an eye-direction LoRa that doesn't affect the head position. or even better, face pointer AND eye pointer, a combo for the ages. i find it nuts that anyone would ever need a 'facing the viewer' LoRa cause that's what 99.99999% of generated people do in XL
@Sivvi @Narz I have a looking down here https://sliders.ntcai.xyz/sliders/app/loras/9a6b29d953f1453c8068d729ce8037bc
I'll put it in my release queue but it's also available if you want to subscribe to my finetuning as a service app
@ntc Thanks for considering releasing it here! I don’t have the time to do the finetuning myself, but I’d be happy to tip you a few bucks if you have something like Kofi.
I had to put a very low value to make the subject not look at the camera, like: <lora:looking_at_viewer:-10>, but it worked nicely. Thank you for sharing!"
