what i'd like to see is this theme - without the pods etc, and instead of control panels, floor mount, wall mount, borg like stuff maybe. I like the hoses and tubes. But I don't like the alien heads from the last model.

Actually this version doesn't seem to have the random alien heads which is good. But i'd like it to have a dieselpunk theme but with more buttons, or mechanical switches. On this theme, a steampunk version would be neat, no gears, ai likes gears too much,but hoses and pipes, valves, gauges, aged metals, mechanical devices, pistons stuff like that. Something that makes a scene look more like an old dirigible, with brass hand levers and random valves or pull chains. Decorative rails and fancy wood. Some in the line of that theme. Or themes.
