Place the "ComfyUI-Step-Monitor" or "ComfyUI_Matrix_Monitor" folder in your custom nodes folder then restart comfyui.

when you search your nodes to add it to the workflow it will be called:

Step_Monitor or Matrix_Monitor.


a simple node for viewing step count in your workflow. removes the need to keep your command prompt in view at all times! (still requires the command prompt to be open so dont close it, just minimize it lol)

can be strung anywhere or just place it in the workflow and it will work either way. very basic but it works well and helps alot.


NOTE: this node MAY affect updating comfyui on future updates, for whatever reason this can be an issue when using custom nodes. if it causes issues, just move this folder to your desktop and update comfy, then place it back in your custom nodes folder after the update is complete.
