I don't know what it is about Nordic/Germanic Christmas mythology, but they always seem to be kinda horrifying, like the Krampus.

Well it's not German at least, even if I'd love a gigantic monstrous cat for christmas. But I think I heard of it during my time in Sweden.

Yeah I know its from Iceland, its in my title, haha. I just meant that Germanic/Nordic peoples, who share common ancestry seem to have folklore that is often kind of dark.
