Maybe in your case, but for me LTX has been much faster than Wan 2.2, and it also has synchronized speech and sound.

I'm not arguing with anyone, I'm just describing my experience working with both models. LTX is less demanding on resources, which is why it is popular with those users who physically cannot run a WAN on their setup due to memory limitations. I sympathize with my creative colleagues, these limitations cause pain to the creators. Another indisputable advantage of LTX is synchronization with sound, which is, of course, a breakthrough in creating amateur videos. However, all my attempts to create something in LTX that I would like were unsuccessful.

WAN is a bulky monster that requires computing power that significantly exceeds the level of the average user of neural networks, even in GGUF versions. Generation time even on 16 Gb video cards also does not add enthusiasm.

But the patience and memory expansion costs are worth it. The video matches the prompt/image exactly, smooth, and not feverishly shaking like in LTX. The video quality is incomparably better, especially in the 16-bit version. There are no unsuccessful videos at all, unlike LTX, where 3 out of 4 videos had to be deleted due to artifacts or fantasies of the model, ignoring the prompt or image.

Summary: if the resources allow you to run a WAN, don't waste your nerves and time on LTX. I think that's exactly what the author meant, but he didn't express his thought very correctly. I apologize in advance if anyone is offended by my opinion.
