Shugo chara is the textbook definition of shojo trash and I absolutely love it. I watched it a few years ago and it was fantastic and the moment I finished the anime (even party) I read the manga The first arc is better in the anime, but after that I think the manga is better because of the pacing.

And now I really need to track down Jewel Joker and read it.

Enough about that, Ran is probably my favorite main Shugo chara A spot I think should be Dia's... but she does absolutely nothing most of the time and that infuriates me.
