Sayo from Warriors All-Stars

Sayo from the video game Warriors All-Stars (2017) is a central story character who initially appears as the queen and priestess of the kingdom sustained by a magical spring. She is the mother of Tamaki and Shiki and the aunt of Setsuna, and she guides them after the death of the king when the spring begins to wither. In the story she instructs Tamaki to summon heroes from other worlds in order to restore the spring and save their kingdom. Later in the narrative it is revealed that she has been corrupted by a supernatural entity called Yomi, a powerful being connected to the spring and the world’s origins. This revelation makes her the true main antagonist behind the events affecting the kingdom. The conflict involving Sayo and Yomi becomes the central threat that the royal heirs and the summoned heroes must ultimately confront.
