Underrated character. Shame the anime only went so far.
The majority were Alkaid fans when the games initially came out. Me as well. I appreciated Atoli more after reflecting back on it all afterward though.
I think she was less popular because she was so much more passive than Blackrose, so she wasn't as impactful as the previous main heroine.
